Integumentary System

This station introduces the Integument System – The skin and Its appendages. The first thing one sees as you approach Youland from Meland is the border where YOULAND starts. Have you ever seen a “Welcome to Nevada” sign when you travel east? Well that is where the skin starts, and it is funny that we sometimes look around to see what a place looks like when we enter it from the outside, even though it often looks just like the place we just left. Similarly, whether it is accurate or not, it is the skin and clothing that we see when we first sum a person up. Because it is such a public organ, our skin is the body system that allows us to diagnose ailments and conditions most easily, provided that we have the knowledge to do so. This is where we start this station.
