One critical test of the value and success of EXPLORE HCC is reflected in the response of the program from teachers and staff. We recognized that the workshops would have to meet a tough teacher standard for content, relevance, and student engagement. To that end we designed a fun, non-didactic group of workshop stations that achieve scientific relevance, meet NGSS criteria, and keep both students and their teachers engaged. This success is reflected in letters of support and invitations to return to provide more workshops in the future.
